Acting as a paint thinner, rubbing alcohol loosens the stubborn grip of paint on fabrics, enabling its effortless detachment.

How to get acrylic paint out of clothes with “Nail Polish Remover”?

Nail polish remover, holds the key to banishing fresh acrylic paint stains. Its active ingredient, acetone, possesses the remarkable ability to dissolve stubborn pigments. Applied directly to the stain, nail polish remover works its magic by breaking down the acrylic’s molecular bonds, loosening its grip on the fabric. As the paint softens, it becomes amenable to gentle blotting and rinsing, gradually fading away until it is no more.

 

 

Following are the steps to remove acrylic paint stains from clothes using nail polish remover:

• Nail polish remover (non-acetone is preferred)

Warnings

Do not use acetone-based nail polish remover on acetate, acetate, or rayon fabrics. Acetone can damage these fabrics.

How to get acrylic paint out of clothes with “Hairspray”?
